The Power of the Law of Attraction

I’ve recently been introduced to a concept that is, honestly, something we’re all aware of in some shape or form. And it has completely changed my life. It’s called the law of Attraction and it is a huge topic. There are so many ways to describe it but the truth is that it’s all the same: what you feel and think is what you attract.

When you read of the law of attraction you’ll see a majority of people describe it in a Spiritual way. It’s up to you as to whether you wish to accept it that way, but practically speaking, it’s all simple. If you think and feel positive, you will attract more positivity into your life. And if you think and feel negative, there will be more negativity in your life. That’s something that we, generally, can all attest to. I’m sure we can think of plenty of times in our lives that we’ve been at our highest high and everything was great. And, with that, I’m sure we can all recall plenty of times that things were terrible. Everything. It’s simply the law of attraction.

I personally do view this in a spiritual way. I won’t get into details of my religious or spiritual beliefs, however, I do believe that what goes around comes back around and what you feed to the world is what you will receive in return. That’s been something I’ve subconsciously thought for nearly all of my life. Now that I’ve added the law of attraction to those thoughts, things make a lot more sense. I believe that if I give the universe the positivity that it wants, I will receive the positivity that I want in my own life. Does this mean that life will never get rough? Absolutely not. But my favorite word is resilience. And rough patches are just opportunities for us to become more resilient. It’s all about how you view things. So, instead of allowing tough times to give me a negative mindset, I will use them to develop problem-solving skills and move forward.

Of course, this is only a brief explanation of the law of attraction. There is so much more to learn and see. My favorite resource is The Law of Attraction: The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham by Esther and Jerry Hicks(You can purchase the book for a great price here! Law of Attraction) I love that they reinforce the fact that they aren’t trying to change anyone’s beliefs, but they’re simply trying to add to the opinions and thoughts of others. Overall, a very helpful and calming read.

It’s easy. Think better, do better, feel better.

“A person is what he or she thinks about all day long.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
