This week on Instagram, I got to playing with plastic Easter eggs in ombre shades. Then a light bulb went off and I remembered I have this awesome candy mold that has a fried egg cavity…candy Fried Eggs for Easter! Yes, I have a candy mold for everything…I may or may not have a few bins worth… Then the wheels really started spinning and I thought ‘Hmm…I can take this a step further! I can use my fried egg design from my Easter tattoos and I could tweak it into custom treat bags. My boys are older and doing Easter egg hunts are a thing of the past. So, I found a way to still have some egg fun and something they could share with their friends that would actually want to share. It was easy to print the design on white paper bags (check out this post to learn how) and add a candy friend egg or two. You are probably wondering how I colored the egg yolks.
