Original, or False, or copy?

Sometimes, the misuse of English in Japan is very funny… And I don’t miss any opportunity of making fun of it. I know, there are also bizarre things in China, like signs saying that you were supposed to not to TRAMP ON THE GRASS, but Japanese signs are also potentially funny.

Not to mention many, I will show one, that I am forced to see everyday. Right in front of my shop, there’s a KFC shop. Everyday they yell that the ORIGINAL chicken is on sell. Maybe the original idea is to convert all the leftovers into money. I guess how healthy it is, as it is taken from the kitchen, and kept under ambient temperature for up to 2 hours, protected only by a paper bag.

ORIGINAL? I wonder how tasty would be the COPY chicken… or the FALSE chicken… or the FAKE chicken… Why isn’t it just the SPECIAL chicken? And the same thing with the ORIGINAL DESSERT at Seven Eleven.

By the way, the original chicken is not bad, I mean, just a bit more than the barely edible; you just have to take one precaution: Do not squeeze it – or the grease it releases can hit up to 10 people around you.
