Attended the press conference yesterday morning to hear the folks from the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival announce the lineup for the 16th Annual XRIJF (check out their new website!). I didn't write anything here as I knew I would be writing this tonight (and there was a lot of coverage out there anyway).  As I noted elsewhere, and paraphrasing the sage John Nugent, there are some you know, some you don’t know ... just the way I like it!  More about the XRIJF later ... but you know there is live jazz in Rochester throughout the year, including during the coming seven days....
