Earth Wind & Fire "Timeless Funk"

EWF has been entertaining their loyal base of fans for almost 5 decades. To say the lease their music is timeless and have transcended generations and musical genres of R&B, soul, funk, jazz, disco, pop, rock, Latin, and Afro-pop. They have been described as one of the most innovative and commercially successful bands of all time. Phillip Bailey, Ralph Johnson, and Verdine White are original members still touring with EW&F. Founder Maurice White died February 4, 2016, at the age of 74.
Every Ewf Song produced, written, performed incorporated heartfelt poetry written by real people, not generated in a studio with loops and special effects. They were known for their catchy melodies - easy to sing along with - and their brass section was the baddest in the land. Yes, there was a time when popular music used real brass instruments. If you follow their music, grew up with their melodic harmony, I'm sure you can attest to their songs still sound like funky fun and make you feel 20 all over again. When you go to a live show your allowed to re-live the 70's,80's and 90's, in full living color. Every EWF song had a lyrical message that uplift, inform and empower you to ascend to a new level of consciousness.
It was both an honor and pleasure to document EWF performance, my favorite group of all-time.
