Then you’re experiencing exactly the same I went through. I tried everything and nothing seemed to work. But then I got it…!

It was the little things that kept me from advancing my skills! Whilst teaching myself how to play the guitar, I made Tiny mistakes and repeated them over and over again. So they became parts of my style and prevented me from playing better. So try to watch yourself as exactly as possible or – even better – ask a friend who plays better than you to look out for the tiny “style misbehaviours” of yourself. Then try to avoid them and you’ll see how easy it is to advance your style from there.
