About This Service

We develop and maintain this branded “Ares” Software program, and it is licensed under the General Public License. We also provide technical support for our paying customers, which is part of the service that you get with our nominal subscription fee.

Activation Code Policy

Ares is a non-tangible irrevocable software which is downloaded directly to your computer. Therefore, one license key is assigned per machine. The same key is non-transferable to a secondary machine. If you wish to add Ares on a second machine, please visit www.officialares.com to download the software and buy a second key.  If your computer is stolen, damaged, replaced, repaired or lost, and your license key has not expired, you may use the key only on the replacement computer. Under no other circumstances, is your initial key transferable.

Sharing is not illegal as long as you obey all relevant Copyright laws. Using P2P programs to download and distribute copyrighted music, movies and games without permission is illegal. Purchasing a membership does not give you license to download and distribute copyrighted material.

These files typically are disguised and can go undetected. We strongly suggest purchasing one of the major spyware applications available, such as, Spybot Search & Destroy.

Viruses

Our version of Ares does not contain any viruses, spyware, or adware. Unless you personally know and trust everyone you share files with, and know that they computers are not infected in any way, we strongly suggest purchasing one of the major anti-virus applications such as Norton and Mcafee.
