As if Ozzy and his transantlantic chum Axel wasn’t enough, the undisputed kings of sliding through the mud horns up over at Download Festival, have come up with some real corkers to help you battle through the inevitably dodgy weather in June.

With 65 new acts announced for the 5-day slugger in the mires of Donington Park, Leicestershire, there’s something for everyone.

While US giants Shinedown will be rocking away on the main stage, the Dogtooth stage will be being set alight by auteur’s of math-metal-electronic-grooviness Rolo Tomassi, accompanying them on the Dogtooth Stage are the heaviest of the heavy in Thy Art Is Murder alongside Grammy nominated metal outfit Baroness. British rock legends Thunder will be kicking about their new album in a long awaited Main Stage stint, while the feisty Marmozets and the fiercely catchy Boston Manor will be getting you to spinkick someone’s teeth in over straight after!

You Me At Six will also be bring their own brand of stadium fillers to the main stage, while the truly awe-inspiring Thrice will return to Download Festival for the first time in 15 years when they take to the Zippo Encore Stage.
