(From Impact Community Newspaper) The city of Tomball has cancelled its fourth annual Tomball Texas Music Festival set for Saturday, Aug. 26, due to the threat of severe weather from Tropical Storm Harvey.
“Cancelling an event is not something that any of us in the festival industry look forward to, but there are times when it has to be done for public safety and other considerations,” Marketing Director Mike Baxter said in a statement Wednesday.
The annual Texas Music Festival features live music from a number of local bands, food, vendors and a kid zone.
