Lorca 'supporting' The Rakes @ Islington Academy
"We got a riot" mewls Lorca's Lead singer (and I use the term 'singer' in the loosest sense of the word). Uh no, what you've got, sonny Jim, is a room full of people wearing glazed expressions and wondering what in Chr*st's name they did to deserve this. So the tickets were free but surely that doesn't mean that we have to put up with this sort of sh*te. If it wasn't for the fact that the lovely ol' Rakes are headlining tonight I'd have hot footed it outta Islington Academy faster than a Priest who's just been caught with his cassock down, but as it is I'm going to have to stand through another 20 mins of this gumph.
On the one occasion that I'm forced to remove my fingers from my ears (in order to hold a much needed gin) I catch lead Lorca screaming "You look like a chainsaw". Well you sir look like a total t*t! But whilst we're on the topic of chainsaws right now I'm really wishing I had one so I could take it to you and the rest of your sad excuse for a band - Texas Massacre Stylee. Make it stop! Make it stop! Someone make this aural torture STOP! Oh Oh think calm thoughts, think calm thoughts. Where are the kittens, the picture of the kittens in the barrel....oh there you are...and relax...

Sorry about that folks but Lorca rile me somink awful - I'd rather listen to Westlife than this lot! I think what they're trying to do is sound something along the lines of Kasabian and Primal Scream but they don't, they sound bloody awful so they should just stop it right now and go away. Thankfully The Heavy and The Rakes were on hand to save our ears but I need to go and have a lie down now so click here to read what JoFringey has to say.
