Why Ask Me - Why All These Traveling Questions?

Hello, everybody! I hope you are doing super well! But it's time for me to add a little spice to your day! Wait, does that make any sense? I dunno, but let me answer a few questions. But why ask me?
Anyways, I got quite a few more questions from Sarah A. Let me see if I can can answer the rest of them today!!!

Sarah had asked these questions forever ago, so I so apologize for getting to them so late. I have so many more questions sitting in the box, but it is still very interesting seeing what these questions are.

The next question Sarah had sent me was "If you could go anywhere on the planet, where would you go?"

Why ask me?

This question was sent in while I was in South Korea. She has a follow-up question in relation to the USA, so I will answer this question as if it excludes America.

So, where would I go?

Now considering the fact that I am in America, now I want to go back to South Korea. I personally would think more of a visit, but God can always call me back for a longer stay. I would also love to go back to Costa Rica or take a trip to Nepal to do mission work. I can't see myself doing anything long term, but I do not have any long term plans. Just waiting on the Lord to direct my ways. But for more of a leisure trip, it would be Israel. I do think I need to develop a stronger love for Israel than what I already have.

Honestly, I have lived a life of constant change or hanging on the edge wondering about the future, I personally hate travel. I would prefer to stay home most of the day and get done what I need to get done. I mean, a little here and there is fine, but I can't handle travel for the most part. It is more of a personal preference, but it is a preference none the less.

Here I go rambling, but I can't handle it. While I was in South Korea, there was one place where I lived in for approximately five years. That place has a ton of nostalgia for me and I resented the idea of moving out of the place (and out of South Korea). But I had no choice and went with the flow. I do feel that the choice was good and I feel very settled in the home I currently live in.

The next time I ever want to move is when I get married. I do not want to move ever again until that time.

By the way, still waiting on that girl, or at least for the Lord to reveal her to me.

Anyways, let me move on to that follow up question.

"If you could go anywhere in the U.S., where would you go?"

Why ask me?

Hm. That's a good question.

I guess this would be a travel-based question, not a "Where do you wanna be right now?" Because I could say "I would go to the safety of my warm home, but that wouldn't count because that is where I currently am in my jammies. (Told you I'm honest!)

Again, I have no real idea because I don't like to travel so much. But it would be great to visit Washington D.C. to see some of those monuments. (I barely was in D.C. when I went to Costa Rica in order to get to the airport.) I think that would be really awesome!!!

Okay, the next question is "If you could meet any one person from History, who would it be (besides Jesus)?"

Jesus!!!

What does history mean? His story!

No, I mean does these days count as "history" or I guess a time before I was born? I will assume the latter.

Honestly, the three U.S. presidents I want to meet most are George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Ronald Reagan. (In fact, after Reagan died, the place where people could view his body was near to the church I used to attend!) I think they would have great insights on politics and how the country should be run, if I could bring up the future. (If I could only pick one, then it would be Washington.)

Okay, the last question for now is "If you could go back to any time in history, when would it be?"

Why ask me?

I thought we already went over this? History simply means "his story!"

That is a super good question. I honestly would love to go back in time to hear Jesus speak for myself. Maybe actually being there and hearing him speak (maybe in a way that I could understand better) would really make the Word come more alive for me.

This is a little something that I talk about. I know that I am mostly speaking to an audience who would agree with me on this issue, but I honestly believe that we should stop making a big deal that we should still stick with the KJV. I have no problem having it on the shelf and potentially using it when needed, but to say that that is the only version of the Bible that can be used is quite absurd. There's a verse in Nehemiah when Ezra had to explain the Law because it was super old and the language was outdated. (Found it! Nehemiah 8:7-8)

So I am honestly going to be trying to read the NLT when I read the Bible. I love the NIV, but it still is difficult for me to read it and I easily can be out of it. Reading the NLT would allow me to read something that is easier to read and understand so I won't neglect the reading of the Bible.

So, that wraps up this Q&A. I know it is my shortest one and maybe not as humorous, but even so I hope you enjoyed reading it! Y'alls make sure that you have a wonderful day and God bless.
