On the third Thursday of every month, there is a free gig in the Studio Bar of K West Hotel. Last week's “K West Live” was a Bushstock Festival 2018 preview with three live performances of various genres of music.

Bennie opened the gig with his guitar and his relaxing pop voice. This new talented artist is the tour manager for Bear's Den and has been on their tours with the likes of Mumford & Sons and has supported and played with Willy Mason on his last UK tour.

The second musical offering consisted of Stephanie Sounds and her pianist. Her powerful rock voice captured the attention of everyone and guests sang along with her.

The last live performance was Black Kat Boppers a band composed by the frontman Roy Phillips (Vocals), Luca Scaggiante (Guitar & Vocals), Colin Owens (Drums & Vocals) and Dylan Clarke (Stand Up Bass & Vocals). Their rockin’ blues music and dance entertained and amused everyone.

The event was a big success with a relaxed atmosphere where people were drinking from the bar or eating delicious food from the kitchen. There was also the chance to win a day in a recording studio and 2 Bushstock Festival tickets for all attendees. The

official Bushstock DJ closed the night with great DJ sets.

The eighth edition of Bushstock Festival will take place on Saturday 23 June 2018 in Shepherd’s Bush across W14 and “The Courtyard” at K West Hotel will be the festival’s major stage. The one-day festival is promoted by Communion Record and it is a platform for the genuine discovery of new music, bringing music fans and great new artists together. The festival, in fact, has a reputation as the place to see the “next big thing” with past artists including Bastille George Ezra, Hozier, Bear’s Den, Daughter, Lucy Rose, Michael Kiwanuka, The Staves, Nick Mulvey and many more.

Future “K West Live” music nights will be held on 21 June, 19 July, 16 August, 20 September, 18 October and 15 November 2018.
