Two MSO 720S ‘Theme’ cars unveiled

McLaren Special Operations has produced the 720S Pacific Theme and 720S Track Theme, two Bespoke Commissions that each have a distinctive look.

A colour called Cerulean Blue – as seen on the current McLaren MCL33 Formula One cars – adorns the 720S Pacific Theme. Some contrast is provided by an Estoril Blue finish for the door intakes, while external carbon fibre components have a Cobalt Blue tint.

Interior enhancements are limited to some blue inserts on the seat upholstery and steering wheel.

The 720S Track Theme combines Anniversary White bodywork, satin-effect carbon fibre and gloss black wheels. Hand-painted Carbon Black and Tarroco Orange stripes add some extra visual interest, plus ‘Speedy Kiwi’ motifs appear on the door mirror caps.

Inside, the seats are covered in black Alcantara with orange stitching. Also fitted is a lightweight titanium bar structure which can accommodate six-point racing harnesses if required.

Cabin plaques in both the 720S Pacific Theme and the 720S Track Theme let occupants know that they’re sitting in an MSO creation.
