Hard Work is Not Easy

"I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious."
-Vince Lombardi

You can talk a big talk about how hard you work, how you don't quit easily, etc. The only thing that matters is the proof you set when your actually in the trenches.

This past week I've finished two shifts, one 12 hours and just 15 minutes ago, an 11 Hour Shift. Working that long when you want to be home is NOT easy. The thing is two other people I worked with today volunteered to come in and help us out.

It was like this EVERYwhere
One of the volunteers, Ashley, had not only done an 8 hour shift a few hours prior to coming into the store, but she was the only one who didn't complain once.

I asked her why she was still in the store, since she could have left at any time, and she simply just asked me "why are you asking that?"

Hard work ain't easy and if there's something you want badly, then be prepared to see it often cause it comes with the territory. Late nights, early mornings, slow gains, crazy goals, these are all things you will deal with if you choose to live the badass lifestyle you want to live; and if it scares you, good. Its called thinning out the herd for a reason.

Many will tell you to quit, to stop trying so hard, and to "think about yourself". If your honest about what you want to do, then ignore them and work hard for what you want.
