Aging can also result to reduced strength, coordination, and flexibility, which can impact one’s ability to safely control a car. Regular check-ups are critical to keep you in the best possible driving shape. One must get the eyes and hearing checked every year and use corrective lenses or hearing aid if necessary. Be careful while opening the car doors or windows as it can impair the hearing aid effectiveness. A common issue with people using spectacles for vision correction is glaring and reflection on lenses which blind the drivers. Though, these days modern technology has come up with anti-glare and anti-reflective lenses which are advisable to use while driving. Avoid strenuous or long drives.
