Thanks for following me!

Thank you sooo much for following my blog. I know reaching 1k on Tumblr is already not a Big Deal these days, and I’m not a famewhore either to announce some simple “thank yous”. But I thought I have to acknowledge these simple things that make me happy or at least smile. So thanks guys for helping me get here…again!

For you guys who doesn’t know I existed here as themhayonnaise from 09-2015 (I think?), well yes, I was here. I deleted my old account with 5-digit Followers because I thought letting go of the documented memories would set me free from anger, sadness, and all the negative emotions I had. I thought I was wrong at first but now I know I was right. I barely remember what I’ve written there before so yes, all the happy and sad memories are now all erased. But what’s the reward? I had a fresh start in blogging again which I thought I already lost forever. Now here I am reaching my second 1k on Tumblr.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind if I have the lowest or highest number of followers. What’s important for me is having readers -those who are curious about my life and how I do things. I just noticed that the number of followers is important as well to other bloggers because it is the easiest way to know they’re doing good on their blogs. (Plus the notes. I used to hate people who make numbers a big deal, but admit it, you’re also checking yours from time to time.)

Another thing I’ve noticed, people here mostly are captured with ideas and thoughts about love, travel, books, and arts. And I think it’s wonderful except that they are more interested about romantic fairytales and idk, hardships, than life in general. They like to read and talk about relationships more than general knowledge. They like reading and writing about their crushes and boyfriends and girlfriends than anything else in life.

If you’re reading this post up until here, please remember that love may be the greatest thing we are experiencing here, but there’s more to life than just having these kinds of relationships. I know I shouldn’t care, I know it’s what you’re feeing and honestly thinking about, or itms your blog theme or it’s your expertise, but I just wanted to share what I learned growing up -never tie yourself to only one aspect of life, explore and discover other things and be happy about them all.

By the way, I’m not sure I’ve mentioned this here before, but I’m gonna mention it again anyways. I am thinking of going back to Wordpress when I get the most convenient time to transfer. Or maybe make it my main blog and just link this account for page promotions, I honestly don’t know yet. Whatever happens, I will always be thankful for Tumblr and the Tumblr people for the warm and great blogging days you have given me and we have given each other.

For now, please do continue embracing my blog’s way of entertaining your eyes and minds or hearts if ever? Lol

Happy reading, and happy blogging, people!
