Bali Photos (Part 2)

10:41pm

Tentatively spared from the hustling life of adulthood, I was told that I shall have a promising week ahead. That is the grace from the much needed rest. I mean, Jennifer is constantly tired, despite having a glowing smile that is depleting very soon from the amount of cigarettes smoke lingering inside her system. Other than that, I feel fine. Oh, and plenty of bloating. It somehow happened after I started taking Lipotropic pills. Was said to purge whatever the bad liver posesses, but I guess lungs' health should be the priority instead.

I don't know, man, all these while I have been extremely jaded from whatever the reason that is. Perhaps we are really submitting to the harsh reality of adulthood? The routine-based exertion that hinders the ability to think of freedom. Awhile ago, I was pretty much against the idea of behaving what adults do, look what society has turned humans into cold-minded bloody machine who operates for the passion of money. So much money, yet limited time. So much time, yet limited money in my pocket to keep me sane.

Time pass extremely fast I reckon, in the blink of an eye, 2 weeks of work has taught me mere nothing. Execpt for my constant need to prove my worth to my supervisor, it kinda felt useless for a split second, and I feel bad for still figuring things out. Particularly the way humans behave and why they behave this way. Perhaps my day will come eventually but in the meantime, everything sucks and my decrease in energy level is starting to lure me into the dark side of the moon. Hahaha see what I did there, pink floyd references.

I guess I owe a couple thousand more Bali photos in which I have yet to publicize. Not that any existing 2% of readers in this blog would care. But I guess, it's just one of those fun times.

In Bali, one has to have pretty good bargaining skills in order to attain the item at a unreasonably cheap price. Sometimes I get mad, they get mad at me for being mad, I became mad at me for mad-ding at them and it wasn't nice at all. Despite haggling to the point where street vendors would take any price that I named, it's not very nice to reduce the price of an already cheap item. I recall once when an eager vendor chasing me half mile across the street just to get me to buy her stuff. Scariest experience I ever encountered. I still didn't buy the item.

In Bali, they serve pretty decent margaritas. In this case, I came across a vegan restaurant that dishes out perfectly comfortable safe foods. My dinner was a bowl of spinach soup with yellow rice. It tastes extremely delicious for the combination, and has a fraction of indian spices beneath the deliciously decorated soup.

Since mom was pretty paranoid about my audacious decision to travel alone, she consistently plagues me by the phone at say 7pm, nagging me to retreat back to my homestay. Anyhoo, here's a front view of the entrance! They have precarious locks, loosen doors with no secure mounted spindles that holds each side of the doors together. But I guess for a price of the budget, this room is set to be pretty cool and chilling at night. Except for the constant frog croaking sounds which hinders my ability to sleep well.
"Praety homestay" makes pretty appetizing breakfast, though my morning appetite has yet to set for the mood.

Finally the fnest take-away of this experience that makes it so fruitful and satisfactory so far was the bathtub. Enough said hahaha

And of course, a motorbike affair.
