Surprise

Hello friends (smile)  I was surprised when I broke a crown (one next to front tooth) while eating a snickers bar in April.

My first implant process ever. Surprise. Dental work be done between two dentists. Surprise.

Long and expensive process. Surprise.

Four months ago, my dentist referred me to oral surgeon for an implant. Surprise.

Yesterday was supposed to be a routine last visit to the oral surgeon before my dentist does final impression and abutment for tooth. Surprise.

I had no idea, minor oral surgery was to be performed. Surprise.

It took many needles to numb my mouth. Surprise. I thought about the circus, when the little darlings start drilling for the nerve. (wink)

The dentist told me of each step he was doing. My insides start freaking out. It was too much information. I couldn’t speak to say please don’t tell me, please.

For a moment, I thought I would faint. Then out of no where, The Lord calmed my spirit and I focused on my trust and the faithfulness of God.

In that moment, the last morsel, of unresolved fear, of the dentist, left my body. Surprise. Thank you Lord.

Bottom line, he had to insert a temporary abutment and stitches.

Once home, I slept for hours. Surprise.

I apologize, in advance, for delayed responses to comments yesterday. (wink)

I shared this to reminder us, fear can keep us stuck with faulty information and memories from the past. Bottom line, fear does not come from God.

I get to work from home the next two days while area heals. Yay. Surprise.

Enjoy your day.

Abundant blessings, my friends, because the just shall live by faith. Praise The Lord.

As always, I welcome your thoughts. (smile)
