January 4th Question: What writing rule do you wish you’d never heard? To be honest, most of them. For me, writing rules are great as a guide but……

Rules can take away “the write it, like you say it”. I like writing when I can experiment with injecting clean humor and fun metaphors.

Sharing thoughts, in our own style, is powerful for confidence; yet bring a pins and needles thought, what if no one likes it?

So what is my mantra today. Write anyway. (wink) It’s quite liberating and powerful self-encouragement.

Thank God, I have a paying day job. (whew)

Yes, I’m still learning and growing as a writer; someday, by faith, all those writing rules will come together, just not today. (smile)

Stay encouraged and keep the faith.

Abundant blessings, my friends because the just does everything by faith. Praise The Lord.
