Hump Day Haiku: #NonprofitHaiku

There’s a #NonprofitHaiku contest on Twitter, and I can’t seem to stop writing them. I posted 7 last night. There may be more in my future. Probably. More than likely, actually.

Maybe there are some posted right now because I just couldn’t stop myself.

Here’s one:

Do you get it? Or am I just old?

Here’s another one, inspired by an actual donation to the organization I work for:

And one more:

If you work in the nonprofit sector, you will so get the haiku that are being posted. They are part of a contest, in honor of National Poetry Month, to celebrate Unicorns Unite, a book about how nonprofits and foundations can work together to build epic partnerships. I’m not sure how this contest is actually being judged, but 5 people will be chosen “based on random and arbitrary criteria” (according to my favorite nonprofit blog, Nonprofit AF) and will receive a copy of the book. Sweet!

Head on over to Twitter and read my #NonprofitHaiku and other submissions. You will not be disappointed.

Happy Hump Day, Unicorns!
