Fashion Week isn’t exactly a time for comfortable outfits. Fashionistas attending the shows are in all sorts of extravagant street style getup. But after a late night that ended with a dance party in my room, I woke up with only one thought on my mind: comfort.

To me, a maxidress is as comfortable as wearing pajamas. The blush color of my maxi (now on sale!) is on trend for the season so I simply added some edge with a leather jacket and military booties. It was the perfect fashion week outfit to hide my bloat from the previous evening.

At Leanne Marshall’s show (which also featured flowy dresses), my friend Sheryl joked that while she was sucking it in with her high waist denim, my theme of the day was to Suck it out. So that’s how I came up with the title of this post. When in doubt about bloat, I now choose to suck it out.
