Conscious Life Space

Many people believe we are accompanied throughout our lives by etheric or other dimensional beings known as Spirit Guides. Some people have unquestioning faith in them and have some concrete ideas about who they are, where they come from and other things. I’m not saying their existence is absolute, nor am I saying they exist at all. You are the decider. You have faith in them or not. I’m merely sharing with you some of the beliefs that people have shared about them.

Common beliefs about spirit guides.

Spirit guides are believed to be highly evolved beings that are presently serving as teachers and guides that will remain with you throughout your lifetime. Every so often they are archangels or angels but not always. In addition, they are almost never a loved one who has passed away. We are unable to observe them since they exist in another plane of existence that is inaccessible to us since they vibrate at a different frequency than we do. Purportedly they work to Guide us through our dreams and intuition. Moreover, they may also make themselves known to us through a variety of signs and symbols.

A widespread belief about spirit guides is that before an individual’s incarnation they chose to accompany that particular person through their lifetime from the moment of your first breath until your last. Other beliefs state that we have at least one who stays with us throughout our lifetime and others who come to us at unusual times and for specific reasons.

What is their purpose?

Their job is to support us as we navigate this world, yet they are uninfluenced by our physical world making their wisdom and advice pure. The mundane aspects of a person’s situation or circumstances are irrelevant to them. For example, if you are struggling with a relationship, they will prompt you to focus on what you are learning, what you need to learn, what you are teaching your partner and what is the true meaning of your relationship.

In the world we live in, one belief about spirit guides that I find comforting is the idea that you are never alone. Whether we are alone or accompanied by spirit guides, let’s remember that there is both magic and mystery in this life. Life is so much more than what we perceive and there are many mysteries that we still have not unraveled.
