Just spent the past week in Los Angeles, California; one of the most beautiful places I have seen yet. Coming from the lovely bowl that is Baton Rouge, we exist right at sea level. The mountains and dry land that are California was a change of altitude to say the least for us!
The excitement between my girlfriends and I leading up to the week before the trip was expressed mostly through texted screams and dancing memes with Jonah Hill showing our joy better than we ever could. Boarding the plane we were literally jumping for joy and squealing like small children finding out they are headed to Disney for the first time.
The Flight was fine, we rode with Delta and got a steal for our tickets! Katie (travel buddy) couldn’t keep her phone in her hands on the flight, anticipation was oozing out of her finger tips! Thankfully we were in the back of the plane and her and Bella (travel buddy) could spend a decent amount of our flight searching for it. In case my repetitive nature wasn’t enough to make this clear, we were excited.

Once landed, we had plans to meet up with my friend, Anthony, so off to the Air BnB we go. On the way to our new home for the week, our taxi driver robbed us; TAKE THE METRO AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM WHEN VISITING! We learned our lesson with a $90 cab ride 15 miles away… Seriously, public transportation is a thing there for a reason. Anthony met up with us and took us down Hollywood Boulevard; checking out the stars and the smoke shops. We saw stars of people we loved, people we questioned, and people we didn’t know. My favorites were of Betty White and Rush!
We did so much more than this but if I put it all in here it would take forever to read! So I'm breaking it up! This is part one; who knows how many parts there will be!
