Hi, this is my second post on the theme of spirituality. As I proceed I will try to consolidate my ever evolving and transforming views on god-the super power.My interaction with god or my Quest for god started when I was a small kid.My grandma used to tell me a story of lord Krishna coming and helping a small boy to who crosses a very wild forest on every day to reach his gurukul.He believes in his mom's words that ANNA-KRISHNA will come to help him to cross the forest.To make that belief real or to uphold the trust of the boy in him, Krishna comes every day.The moral of the story was that "god helps those in need of him if they trust him".
That was a beautiful story to have an impact on my little mind.I started to believe in god to fulfill all my petty wants from candy to exam.Thus started my conversation with god.Then as I grew up I started learning from spiritual experiences of many Tyagis like Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Vivekananda, Ramana Maharshi. I began to read or observe the spiritual experiences of great leaders like Mahatma, Mother Teresa, A P J Abdul kalam etc.,
One thing that is clear to me is that-to be with god means to be with you.I mean, if you seek god you will become familiar with your self-THE ATMAN-immortal being.When such stage of a direct relation between you and god is achieved then it is very simple to control your emotions and fulfill your duties of life.It is that direct feeling of devotion or as they call, the eternal bliss that made them achieve greater heights(greater to us-the common people).
Now the things that I realized or understood might contradict with what I felt in past or what I in future.But in a path towards spiritual quest human beings rise to a higher level of existence.So no offenses if I contradict with someone at any point of time.
I will post my further understanding of god and me.Hope some of my readers share their spiritual understanding or their experience of the spiritual quest with me. Do comment.
