Kellyanne’s knee on Oval Office couch shocks some who overlook when Obama put feet on Oval Office desk

All the outcry by some print/broadcast media concerning a widely-shared on social media photo of President Donald Trump's senior adviser Kellyanne Conway casually kneeling with shoes on a couch in the Oval Office comes from those with short memories, notes Grumpy Editor.

Some berated Conway for “a lack of respect in the Oval Office” although past president Barack Obama was photographed with his feet on the historic desk in the Oval Office.

A photographer was on hand to capture Obama’s elevated legs on the so-called Resolute desk on Feb. 11, 2010 and Sept. 2, 2013.

The desk, constructed in 1880, was a gift from Britain’s Queen Victoria.

It got its special name from being built with timbers from the British Arctic Rescue ship, the HMS Resolute, which became trapped in ice and was abandoned in 1854.
