Haryana districts to be linked with DBT Scheme for sale and purchase of fertilisers through POS devices

All Haryana districts will be linked with Direct Benefits Transfer (DBT) scheme for sale and purchase of fertilisers through Point of Sale (POS) devices.
An official spokesman said that earlier Karnal and Kurukshetra were selected as pilot districts for implementation of Dbt Scheme and now the project had been extended to the remaining 19 districts.

Almost 80 per cent farmers in district Kurukshetra had been linked through Aadhaar for fertiliser DBT scheme. About 11,769 farmers had purchased fertiliser and 7,837 MT of fertiliser was sold through Pos Devices from February 1 to May 7.
