Vases

In ancient times, Vases were art mediums used by the Greeks to depict life and historical scenes. This tradition has continued on and till this day one can find vases depicting not only historical scenes but also other various scenes. Today, vases are mainly decorative structures or accessories on the mantels, dining tables and desktops or even standing on its own in a corner of a room. As always, a vase’s main objective is to extent the beauty of its contents.

A conventional vase has the foot or base, the body, which is the largest part of the vase, the shoulder, which curves inwards, and the lip, which opens up at the top. Since vases have become art décors, many shapes and designs of vases have evolved mainly to blend in with interior designs of a home.
