The three statements on the home page are the philosophy and rationale, the cornerstone of everything that I share on this blog.

Market movements capture everything – I believe that everything that affects the price of the Stock is captured by the market and the price of the stock moves to reflect that impact on the stock. It could be fundamental, political or anything otherwise. So I try to study the price movement. I try my best, not to concern myself with the reason for this movement and believe that this movement has already captured all available information and the price has moved to a new level.

Price defines a trend and then moves within a range – I believe in the premise that stock prices and markets trend and try my best to identify trends in early stages after a price movement. Effort is to follow the existing trend with a belief that the stock price will continue to follow the trend within a range unless I see signs of it reversing. Here I use various tools and techniques to follow the trend.

Trends are repeated over time – With the study of charts of over hundreds of years, they seem to show tell tale signs of movements in a pattern and I believe that these same trends and patterns are repeated over time. Here again I refer to the tools and techniques to follow the trend and identify the related patterns.
