I wanted you all to be aware and very cautious when choosing who/where you register your domain names and get your hosting account from.

I have previously had a domain name register with Registerfly.com and signed up for a 3-month hosting to check them out. In which after setting up my account and paying for my domain name ($9.99) and the 3 months of hosting ($11.85) I removed my credit card information from my account. But even after it was removed, Registerfly continued to make unauthorized charges to my credit card. By the end of the 3 months, I had over $160 in unauthorized charges on my credit card.

To make things worse they stopped there online support, and I tried calling their support phone #, to which I was informed that due to a problem with in their financial department they were only doing support by submitting tickets.

Finally after a few months, dealing back and forth with the credit card company and Registerfly. I was able to get those charges refunded. Then to find out even after my 3 months of hosting was over and done. I was still being charged (unauthorized charges) By the end of that the only solution was to have the credit card number cancelled and changed.

After doing having the credit card changed, I was going to just let my domain name expired so I wouldn't have anything to do with them. Then I received an email from their risk department advising me that my account/domain name has been transferred to thier fraud department. As of right now, that's current where it is, I emailed them regarding the meaning to it but have not received any additional information as of yet.

So the main point here is do a bit of research on the company beforehand, don't always go for the cheapest place, or you might end up paying a lot more in the end. Or just end up having a lot more problems then you would have had if you did your research.

P.S. For anybody that didn't get my impression of Registerfly.com (Rating -10) Don't ever bother with them, and warn any one you know!
