Aug 29, 2018 - Florence, Arizona partners with Subex to cyber-secure critical infrastructure

Subex, a leading Internet of Things (IoT) and critical infrastructure security solutions provider, has announced it has partnered with the Town of Florence, Arizona to provide security to its critical public infrastructure. An agreement to this effect was recently signed by Florence and Subex.

As part of this partnership, Subex will provide end-to-end cybersecurity to detect, repel and remediate advanced threats to Florence’s most basic and vital technological systems. When Florence launches its smart cities project, Subex will continue to be the cybersecurity partner for all projects coming under the plan.

Through this partnership, the Town of Florence is leading the way by becoming one of the first cities to protect its public infrastructure through solutions, strategies, and measures provided by Subex. This partnership is a landmark one and will pave the way for other cities to adopt similar measures thereby ensuring the highest levels of protection for smart city projects across the United States.

Aug 28, 2018 - Local Personalities Take Up Sunway Lagoon Theme Park Challange for Charity

Two local DJs from Media Prima Radio Berhad recently participated in Sunway Lagoon’s Splash and Thrill Challenge for a cause with more than RM50,000 worth of Sunway Lagoon admission tickets given to their charity of choice. The month-long campaign that will be ending on 16th August also saw 20 lucky radio fans spend the day at the theme park with their favourite radio announcers in a special session.

The radio announcers from One FM and their fans formed two teams to battle against one another in completing Sunway Lagoon top thrilling rides such as the Vuvuzela, Tomahawk, Pirate’s Revenge, Lost City of Gold Scream Coaster, Monsoon 360, G-Force X, and FlowRider. To further attest to the splash and thrill of the challenge, the losing team had to do the Bungy Jump, diving head-first down from 22m above.

The Sunway Lagoon team surprised 250 children from Rumah Victory Children & Youth Home, House of Joy, Rumah Charis, and Ti-Ratana Welfare Society on 21 August 2018 with Sunway Lagoon admission tickets ahead of the children’s ‘Best Day Ever’ experience, joined by the two radio personalities. The children were overjoyed by the special arrangements for their first visit to Sunway Lagoon in conjunction with the school holidays.
