ISO to update user documentation standards: looking for volunteers to help

The ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC7 WG2 committee has decided to replace every ISO Documentation standard with one coherent suite of documents, and to absorb the relevant IEEE documentation standards at the same time. They will start by producing a user documentation standard for managers, covering roles and job descriptions, process, documentation plan content, suite design, testing, configuration management, metadata, audience and task analysis, estimation, work breakdown structure, quality metrics and tools and infrastructure requirements.

They’re looking for volunteers to help them develop these standards. For further info, visit the Project 11 Website.
