I have posted last time how to sync videos/movies to Ipod Touch (here), but this video conversion method produces Video Files with low quality. Unless you know how to properly control the software, then you will get good enough quality videos. I think most people don't want the hassle of tweaking the settings. I think this is the software for you. It's called Format Factory, and here is the RapidShare link to download the installer. Installation is easy and fast, as well as the conversion. Just follow the step be step guide below.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Download and install FormatFactory.
- From the start button, select All Programs then FormatFactory and click FormatFactory.
- You will now have the FormatFactory interface. On the left pane, click on Mobile Devices\PSP\iPhone.
- From the choices, select All to iPhone MP4.
- To add videos to convert, locate in you pc the directory where you saved the video file, most probably that would be a video file in .avi format. You can click Add File to convert a single video file or click Add Folder to convert all the video files in that folder to the format which can be played in your iPod Touch.
- Once you are done adding the video files for conversion, click Ok. Video file conversion will then start and wait for it to finish.
- Once done, are now ready to all the converted files to iTunes. To locate where the converted files were saved click Output Folder at the top of FormatFactory. Sometimes, the converted files are saved in the same folder as the original file to be converted. Make sure to also check that folder.
- Open iTunes and drag and drop the converted video files and you have these files available in iTunes. You can now Sync your iPod Touch.
