I apologise for using the term Britlisters but it's a term that seems to be taking off and before you say anything I didn't make it up!

I hope you're all enjoying this gorgeous weather and making the most of alfresco living! Who needs to go on holiday when it’s this sunny over here! I don’t know about you guys but I've spent more money than ever these last few months on BBQ's, a paddling pool (it's worth noting that I don't have kids!), a hammock (it was on special in Woolies!) and of course the obligatory new annual pair of Speedos! (Ok I'm joking on that last one!)

Anyway, I just wondered what you guys had been up to these last few months, its been so long since I last wrote on here I feel like we've lost touch a bit and we can't have that! So, feel free to write back to me and let me know how you are and anything interesting you might want to share? You know, a funny joke you heard, a bar/club/ you could recommend…and of course if you have any suggestions on how we can improve BritList and make it as user friendly as possible, you're comments are always greatly appreciated….In fact, I tell you what, seeing as I've been slightly…relaxed about updating this blog, why don't one of you guys take control for a week? You can write whatever you want (try and keep it clean!) as often as you want for a week. You could use it to ask people for tips and advice, or share your thoughts about the hot topics of the moment. The person who gives the best response to this message, be it by just having a friendly chat, or telling us why you would like to write our blog for a week will be the lucky 'author' for one week only. Who knows…this could be your first step towards global superstardom….
