Two Separate Rooms for Intimate Relations will be opened in the penitentiary center of Andorra.This decision comes into force on 20th June, 2018. Each room will have a bathroom and will be equipped with anti-emergency systems.

Currently, only 8 prisoners out of 41 will be able to use the new service – this is people who are in prison for at least six months and have a permanent partner.

The availability of rooms for Intimate relations in the prison is an initiative of international organizations supported by the Andorran Government.

The meetings will be held once a month. Duration of visits is one hour.
