All About CoinPot

All About CoinPot

CoinPot was launched on July 6, 2017. It is presumably from the same group who own BitFun, MoonBitcoin and Bonus Bitcoin.

  • it was designed to collect and combine payouts and earnings from a number of different faucets. It supports multiple currencies such as Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Dash, and Bitcoin Cash
  • It is not really a cryptocurrency wallet in a normal sense. It is more like an intermediate wallet, a temporary storage of your various coins. After reaching a cashout threshold, You have the options to transfer it to a microwallets like FaucetHub and FaucetSystem or directly to your Blockchain Wallet
  • Currently, it manages the following faucets from different currencies: BitFun, Bonus Bitcoin, Moon Bitcoin, Moon Litecoin, Moon Dogecoin, Moon Dash, and Moon Cash.

Important Reminder: After creating an account in COINPOT, you have to sign-up to all the faucets/websites mentioned above using the same email address you used in COINPOT

Additional Features of CoinPot

  • Increased security - optional 2FA
  • Free and instant conversion between your coins, meaning if you wanted to convert your Bitcoin to Litecoin or Dogecoin, it only requires a few clicks
  • Lots of withdrawal options such as XAPO, Faucet Hub, Faucet System and direct to your wallet via the blockchain. (NOTE: Each of these options has different withdrawal thresholds and some may incur a withdrawal fee)
  • You can use your browser to "mine" cryptocurrencies. It is recommend that you switch off any Anti-Virus or Ad-Blocking software/extensions on your device whilst mining, as these can reduce your earning rates or even prevent mining from working at all

Personal Notes About CoinPot

  • I am hoping that Free Bitcoin, Free Dodgecoin and other "direct-to-wallet" paying faucets will join Coinpot.
  • I was already using Moon Bitcoin and Bonus Bitcoin when Coinpot was introduced. Unfortunately, I was using two different email addresses for these faucets so when they introduce Coinpot, two accounts were automatically created. I wish they give us the chance to change our email address when they introduce CoinPot.
  • My strategy right now is to collect from all the faucets and then convert it all to LITECOIN.
