Diving around Marsa Alam

To get my batteries loaded again, I decided to have another short trip to Red Sea in Egypt.
So I convinced my buddy to have one week underwater action with Seaworld Diving Center besides the Novotel Marsa Alam. But before I could enjoy the warm climate and the awesome underwater wildlife of Egypt, my patience had to pass a frustrating test: the plane started 10 and a half hours late…

But read the whole story of the flight here…

On the next day we had a very hearty welcome and could quickly get underwater.
Moni from the base was caring for everyone and Mahmoud our guide was a skilled, very friendly and a sympatic fella.
Our gear was well kept by the staff, who were absolutely helpful and kind, generally everbody at the base did a great job and the excurses were nice.
The house reef fun to dive, night dives were interesting as we saw a lot of spanish dancers, squids and stone fishes.
The Novotel itself did not perform that well, but that was due to the failure of the management, the local staff was really helpful and very friendly, except one guy at the bar.
All in all I can fully recommend diving with Seaworld Diving Center as I had a good time and some awesome dives there.
