Takedown Scoring and Stats offers the most robust set of wrestling statistics and reports available on the market today. These reports and statistics cover the gamut from team administration -- roster, schedule, equipment tracking -- to advanced statistics for coaches. Some of the stats -- short-time scoring, position change probabilities and shot success rate -- offer insights to individual and team performance that simply aren't easily (or cheaply) compiled without Takedown Scoring and Stats.
Report View
When you tap the Reports button at the bottom of the page, this view appears.

In the upper left corner is Report Selection. Tap this button to reveal the report list with associated filters. In the upper right corner is the Sharing icon (square with embedded up arrow). Tap this icon to share and save copies of your reports.

Takedown Scoring and Stats currently offers thirteen different reports accessed via the Report Selection button in the upper left corner. Tap Report Selection to show the entire list of reports:

Here's a brief description and example of each report. Some of these reports are multiple pages and only the first page is shown in the example. Many multi-page reports include summary stats on the final page.
Scorebook
Standard wrestling scorebook replicating the look and layout of a typical paper scorebook. Includes circled first points and end-of-match time. Can be signed by the referee using Adobe Reader app.

For each wrestler, a full page of stats related to certification, weigh ins, performance by weight class, short-time scoring, tournament placement, 3rd period comebacks, 1st TD win percentage, and probabilities of changing from neutral/top/bottom positions to another position including pins. This is our most advanced report, suited for coaching adjustments as well as college recruiting for high school seniors.

For each wrestler, points for-against in the waning seconds of all periods. Adjustable in five second increments from 20 to 5 seconds remaining in the period. Also shows the average point differential in short-time and the number of periods over which the calculation is performed. Another advanced metric used for coaching adjustments.

For each wrestler, shots for-against by period and total for each match and aggregated across all matches. Also shows the success rate expressed as the number of takedowns divided by the number of shots. Not only an advanced metric useful for coaching adjustments, but a first of its kind metric for wrestling.

For nineteen different stats, the top leaders and counts for each. List length is user selectable from "Top 3" to "All Wrestlers" and in-between. Good motivational tool for posting in the practice room, social media and in your fan handout for dual meets.

For each wrestler, issue and return dates for eight commonly distributed pieces of wrestling equipment. Use at equipment distribution at season's beginning and equipment return at season's end. A manager's dream and effective tool for keeping equipment costs under control.

By date and time, lists Event and Competitive Level. For completed events, includes team score, match win-losses and team tournament placement. Easy way to publish your updated schedule to athletes and fans via email, print and social media.

Report Filters
Filters are used to adjust the scope over which a report is generated. For example, you might want to create stats for only varsity wrestlers in conference competition. Or, generate a "career" report for your senior wrestlers spanning match data from multiple seasons. Report filters allow you to easily tailor your reports and stats to suit whatever requirement arises. These filters fall into two categories (1) broadly used filters that apply to nearly all reports and (2) report-specific filters.
Filters are accessed by tapping the circle "i" next to each report name. Here's an example of tapping circle "i" for Scoring Detail:

Here's a list and description of all report filters:
Seasons
Select one or more Seasons. Default is the Season with the most recent start date.Events
Select Most Recent Event (default), All Events, All Dual Meets, All Tournaments or individual events for selected Seasons.Competition Level

Report Sharing
All reports are available for on-screen viewing. The on-screen view has "sticky" column headers so that when you scroll through a multi-page report it is still possible to see the label at the top of a column. In addition, the on-screen view shows filter settings in the top left corner. Logos are displayed at the bottom of the last page along with date/time.
To share reports, Takedown converts the on-screen view to one or more shareable formats:

These formats are:
PDF -- the world's most common, non-editable format popularized by Adobe and access via Adobe Reader (formerly Adobe Acrobat) and a host of third party software/apps.
Image -- Portable Network Graphics (PNG) format, a common web image format compatible with Twitter, Facebook, Email, Messaging (SMS, Facebook).
CSV -- Comma Separated Values (CSV) format, a common data exchange format used by spreadsheets, such as Excel and Google Spreadsheets, for importing and exporting data.
Text -- plain old text, used only for sharing the Box Score in the format preferred by press and media outlets.
All reports are shareable in PDF format, most reports are available in image format, fewer in CSV and only one in Text.
Tap one of the formats to reveal a list of sharing destinations. Sharing destinations include a local printer (on the same Wifi network), email, social media (Twitter/Facebook), messaging (Apple Message, Facebook Messenger), Apple Photos (reports saved as images are easy to post on websites) and various archiving apps (Apple Notes, Dropbox, Google Drive, Adobe Reader). Also, the app has an "Open In..." sharing destination for sharing a report with any iPad app supporting the selected format.

Reports Miscellaneous
All reports are generated on demand from your scoring and associated data on your iPad. Internet is not required to create a report andTakedown does not keep copies of reports. If you need a permanent copy of a report -- a signed scorebook for example -- use an archiving app like Adobe Reader.
Sharing a report off of your device -- to social media or via email for example -- requires an Internet connection because these services are Internet-centric services.
The default event is always "Most Recent Event". You'll need to change the Event filter if your scope is broader than the Most Recent Event. By the way, Most Recent Event is the event with a date closest to but not after today's date. It is not necessarily the most recently scored event if you're in the habit of entering historical matches on paper into Takedown (this is a good habit).
Filter settings are "sticky", i.e. they don't change, when moving between reports. Filter settings are not sticky if you force quit the app. In this case, they return to default values on startup.
Each report shows the filter settings, at the top for on-screen and on the final page for shareable formats.
If you don't see the data you're looking for, don't panic. Chances are you've set the filters to narrowly. Check the filter settings before you panic.
Archiving reports has nothing to do with backing up your Takedown database. When you archive a report to, say, Dropbox, you're simply keeping a copy of the report in a certain file format. Reports can not be used to reconstitute your Takedown database.
Nothing done in reports can alter the Takedown scoring database. Bang away with filters and sharing -- you can't hurt the scoring data. Don't be shy, you can't break any glass in reports.
