The Golf world has been struck with “Tiger Fever” since Woods appears to be returning to form. That electricity has prompted one fan to pay a boatload cash to catch Tiger Fever first hand.
Outside of competing on the PGA TOUR, Tiger tends to host his fair share of fundraisers and charity events. This past week, Tiger hosted his 20th Annual Tiger Jam, which helps raise money for the Woods Foundation. And at the event, one fan dropped $50,000 for the opportunity to carry Tiger’s bag.
Typically, this would be the ideal gig for anyone in the golf game, which would net a lot of money considering Tiger’s skill level, so it’s a bit of a reversal to see someone dropping that much cash on the opportunity.
The lucky (and apparently wealthy) fan will be carrying Tiger’s bag at the Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas for the Hero Challenge on November 28th.

On top of this amazing opportunity, the Tiger Jam also auctioned off several other amazing packages that raised the Woods Foundations thousands. Some of the other options that were auctioned off included an Acura MDX SH, golf packages at Woods-designed courses, and the chance to spend the day with legendary boxer Sugar Ray Leonard.
Outside of the awesome packages up for auction, it was also a great event bringing together many celebrities for a good cause. Some of the attendees included Reggie Bush, Larry Fitzgerald, Blair O’Neal, Chris Harrison and former Miss America, Kira Kasantsev. All are also big philanthropists and are typical attendees to Woods Foundation events.
Having the opportunity to caddie for Tiger will be a once in a lifetime experience. While I’m not sure he’ll take much advice from the winner of this bid, the mystery caddie will certainly have a great time hanging out with the elite of the PGA TOUR.
