There are many Golf fans who like to make bold predictions about who will win what tournament. Not many of those guesses, however, end up making someone a millionaire.

This is where Jordan Baker enters the equation. A professional golfer himself, the Englishman decided that he would place a two-pound bet on the golf grand slam. For his choices, Baker had Sergio Garcia winning the Masters and Brooks Koepka winning the U.S. Open. With those two picks coming true, he is now halfway to turning that two-pound bet into two million pounds, or roughly 2.56 million U.S. dollars.

Now Baker needs the other half of his ticket to come true, as he picked Rickie Fowler to win The Open Championship and Justin Thomas to take home the PGA Championship. If you’re thinking to yourself that landing all four of these picks are the longest of Odds, you’d be right as bet365 put Baker’s odds of winning at one in a million. The odds for Fowler and Thomas to win the final two majors are now at only 980 to 1.

With so much money on the line, Baker has an idea of what he would spend his winnings on if he’s able to beat the odds. He told Golf Digest:

“I’d buy my mum a house, take dad on a golfing trip around the UK, buy myself a nice Ferrari and then take all the lads on holiday to Vegas.”

So basically, he’d treat his parents, himself, and then crack open a cold one with the boys.

Because bet365 would have to dish out this much money on a ridiculously small bet, there are rumors that the betting site could offer Baker a buyout to avoid the possibility of a max payout. Baker, however, has stated that he has not received a buyout offer and has already placed a new bet. Baker has put down 100 pounds on Connor McGregor to defeat Floyd Mayweather by knockout.

While his other bets may be a little too ambitious, Baker certainly knows his stuff when it comes to golf and many around the world will be rooting for him to cash in on his improbable bet.
