Johanna Konta, Roger Federer win 2017 Miami Open

Roger Federer dominated Rafael Nadal on Sunday with a 6-3, 6-4 victory in Key Biscayne making him the oldest winner of the Miami Open. The champion has beaten longtime nemesis, Rafael, for the third time this year, beating him at the Australian Open in January and the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.

In the Womens Miami Open tournament, Johanna Konta defeated Denmarks pro tennis player Caroline Wozniacki in a 6-4, 6-3 triumph making British Konta World No. 7. The win is the biggest title won by any British woman player in forty years.

In the Doubles Finals Gabriela Dabrowski of Canada and Yifan Xu of China defeated Sania Mirza of India and Barbora Strycova of Czechoslovakia in a 6-4, 6-3 win.
The Men’s Doubles winners are Lukasz Kubot of Poland and Marcelo Melo of Brazil against Nicolas Monroe of the United States and Jack Sock of the United States in a 7-5, 6-3 victory.
