The PADI IE in Ao Nang, Thailand was very successful for the candidates of the January 2018 Padi IDC on Koh Lanta, Thailand in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Blue Planet Divers in Ban Saladan on Koh Lanta.

Helmer and Quentin both passed with flying colors this morning, scoring maximum points on their open water presentation. Two days of hard work and sitting and waiting around with short bursts of action have now been completed and they should be on their way back home to Koh Lanta right now.

It was a first for me to participate in a PADI IE in Ao Nang and it was nice, a small group of candidates, only 6 in total with a friendly and very experienced PADI Examiner on top of that.

The two PADI IE days flew by and both Helmer and Quentin had top scores in all 4 parts of the PADI IE, topping it off with the highest possible scores for open water this morning.

Once back on Koh Lanta and when they received their teaching status by PADI, they will immediately start working as the brand new Open Water Scuba Instructors they are as of today. Quentin will leave mid February for France however but Helmer is planning to stay until the end of the season,a round April.

Josh who also participated in the January 2018 Padi Idc on Koh Lanta choose to join a PADI IE on Koh Lanta scheduled for 27th and 28th January. Josh and Thanos who staffed the January PADI IDC are both not in this picture.

The next couple of PADI IDC programs are scheduled to start on 23rd January on Koh Phangan, Thailand in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Haad Yao Divers'. This is followed by a program scheduled to start 6th February and 7th March on Phuket, Thailand in conjunction with PADI CDC Center 'Dive Asia' with monthly programs scheduled in 2018 on Phuket, on 19th February in Khao Lak, Thailand in conjunction with 5* IDC Center 'Sea Dragon' and on 26th March I will be back on Koh Lanta, Thailand again in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Blue Planet Divers'.
