The Maxxis Ardent is the all-round mountain bike tyre by Maxxis. The large and pronounced knobs on the sides make sandy corners a breeze. If you make sure your bike stays upright, the Ardent will make sure you come flying out the other end.

You can also run it at a low pressure without having to worry about the sidewalls. The addition of their own EXO protection makes them perfectly capable of surviving anything you might come across. Naturally, the Ardent is tubeless ready.

Maxxis Ardent Race

Looking for the qualities of the Ardent, but in need of more speed? The Ardent Race answers your prayers. The same great properties as the regular Ardent, but with a less pronounced tread pattern.

The main tread is a little harder to eek out as much speed as possible. This gives the tyre a little less grip in the corners, but it does mean you’ll blast past your mates on the straights.

So it’s up to you to decide where you’ll make a difference. Naturally, the Ardent Race boasts the same protected sidewalls with the EXO protection, and it’s tubeless ready as well.

Maxxis Ikon

Perhaps the most loved tyre in the Maxxis range is the Maxxis Ikon. This tyre is particularly well-liked by the pros as it’s capable enough to do well on any surface.

These tyres too are tubeless ready and use the same sidewall-protection technology as the Ardent tyres.
