The Invention Of Discovery

Well, it's funny how man discovered/invented different things. Milk, for example, man might have said, "Hey, that thing hanging below the cow looks cool, let's squeeze it and drink what drops!" I mean, what else could have happened? One might guess that it was discovered accidentally(and maybe, so was 'fire' or 'wheel'), but what 'accidents' could have possibly caused the Discovery of milk? Probably one day, when man went hunting for a cow, and threw a stone at it, it caused the cow's milk to leak, which made the man's brain want him to try that, and then man lived happily ever after(or did he?).

Talking of inventions and discoveries, one thing that always confuses me is the invention of word discovery and the discovery of the word invention. Well, invention is making or doing something that wasn't used or made before, while if someone makes a discovery, they are the first person to find or become aware of something, that already exists. But, if you are 'inventing' something, aren't you just 'becoming aware' of the fact that your 'invention' exists already, and you just didn't know how to 'invent' that before? In other (and probably more simpler) words, aren't you just discovering how to discover your invention – or maybe, aren't you just Inventing how to invent your discovery?

Anyways, coming to a point, why does man always keep discovering and inventing things? Why does his brain want him to try new things, instead of just stopping to think too much and live a 'normal' life – like, ants for instance, who, by the way, are the most abundant Species on Earth. Whales, on the other hand, have a much bigger brain than humans, the biggest among all species, rather. And in spite of that, they aren't doing too good in, well, surviving. And why didn't man, who claims to be the most intelligent species of all, didn't think about this fact, and then stop thinking, so that he could survive. But, what is survival, anyway? What is life? Aren't we just an organized group of molecules, obeying the laws of physics, like everything else? Then, maybe we should avoid trying to defy them, and just try being a bunch of molecules.

Think about it!
Actually - don't!

P.S. It's all whimsical.
