What is spray foam insulation?

Spray Foam insulation is typically a polyurethane foam that is combined with other components to create a chemical reaction that causes the foam to expand and harden. When the components are mixed, it is moved through a heated hose and then through a Spray Foam gun that installs the insulation in the attic, walls and other areas of the home.
