Mr. V’s Family Restaurant- If you’re looking for a classic diner atmosphere, then this restaurant is the ideal place to visit Located at 407 N. 10th Avenue, this family-owned diner produces freshly made food from recipes passed down through generations (probably just how mom made it). They make everything from breakfast foods to easy comfort food Some of their Menu Items Include biscuits and gravy, farm fresh eggs (made-to-order), freshly made sandwiches, charbroiled burgers, soups and salads, different types of fish, prime rib, fried chicken, homemade malts, and delicious cobblers. There is also fresh brewed coffee at all times. The meals are served with the ideal portions for dining in as well as carry out, the prices are fairly reasonable, and the service is outstanding. The doors are open from 6am-9pm Sundays through Wednesdays and from 6am-10pm on Thursdays through Saturdays.

The Orchard House- This restaurant located on 14949 Sunnyslope Road, right in the middle of a beautiful orchard (hence, the name of the restaurant). Breakfast is served from 7am-11am every day except Sundays, and lunch/dinner are served from 11am-9pm every day of the week.

Hamburger Connection- This hamburger joint located at 423 S. 10th Avenue is a local favorite The staff is always super friendly, and the food tastes incredible, especially with fry sauce. The restaurant itself has been compared to In and Out Burger by many of the locals. Some of their best-selling food items are: the Jumbo burger, the finger steak basket, chicken sandwiches, connection special, fish sandwiches, steak sandwiches, and a wide variety of milkshakes and ice cream cones (the ice cream cones, depending on the size, can be from 6 inches tall to almost a foot). All of the food is made fresh and in-house, especially the fries and tater tots, and are filled with savory goodness. It is guaranteed that you will not be disappointed with this place. It is open from 10:30am-10pm every day, though it is closed on Sundays.

Indian Creek Steakhouse- This American steakhouse is sure to take you taste buds through an epic journey. Located in the center of Caldwell on 711 Main Street, this steakhouse specializes in burgers, steaks, and much more. Some of their tastiest menu items include sirloin, filet mignon, salads with homemade salad dressing, French dip, ribeye, steak and shrimp entrees, and delicious sides such as fry bread, beans, potatoes, brussels sprouts, bacon, fried pickles, and peach cobbler for dessert. This option is a bit pricey, so be prepared to spend a lot of money if you choose to dine here. The doors are open from 11:30am-10pm on Wednesdays through Saturdays and closed Sundays through Tuesdays. Happy hour is from 4-6pm every day.

Orphan Annie’s Bar and Grill- You may not believe it at first glance, but this restaurant actually specializes in serving delicious Chinese and American food. Named after little orphan Annie and located at 801 Everett Street, this bar and grill comes with a variety of foods that are sure to fill your stomach. Some of their menu items include: chasu, egg rolls, fried won ton, ginger garlic shrimp, pot stickers, stuffed mushrooms, tsukimono, mandarin chicken, sukiyaki, teriyaki bowl, dragon steaks, New York steak with prawns (made-to-order), filet mignon (made-to-order), steamed clams (made-to-order), soups and salads, and a wide variety of beer and wine to try. This is another pricey option; however, the food excellent The doors are open from 11:30am-10pm from Tuesdays to Thursdays, 11:30am-11pm on Fridays, 2pm-11pm on Saturdays, and closed Sundays and Mondays.

The Bird Stop- This restaurant is also considered to be a coffee-house and a brew-house, and it is located right in the heart of Caldwell on 702 Main Street. Here, the prices are fairly reasonable (yet still on the expensive side for some items), the service is friendly and quick to respond, and the décor is fun, yet beautiful. Some of their tasty food items are signature sandwiches such as the roasted turkey, gyro, ham and smoked cheddar, cucumber sando; garden and Caesar salads; pulled pork sliders; and more simple yet delicious items. They also have gluten free bread for the sandwiches, if needed. As for drinks, there are plenty of options to choose, from coffee and beer to wine and cocktails. They also have musical entertainment from local musicians to make things fun and exciting. If you are looking for mouthwatering food and a good time, this place is for you The doors are open from 9am-5pm on Tuesdays, 9am-9pm Wednesdays through Saturdays, and are closed Sundays and Mondays.
