The addiction of that intoxicating presence
The aura of that unbelievable essence
Amazes me and would continue to do so
But it’s hard to accept and harder to let go
The thought of losing a friend in you
& the fact, there’s nothing I can do
Just aggravates the pain that follows
The agony of companionship moving towards shallows.
The more I think, the more it clears,
I owe you more, than just tears.
The moments of cheers that we shared
Would be more memorable to me, than we cared!
Your guidance has been the light in the dark
