BMW Group will continue to support Tefaf, one of the most significant art and antiques fairs in the world for another three years. The German concern has traditionally been a partner of the worldwide exhibition this year; the 30th edition of TEFAF Maastricht. The company organizes a viewing of the collection of contemporary art in the museum Buitenplaats Kasteel Wijlre Within the framework of cooperation, as well as BMW will provide VIP shuttles for the guests of honor of the fair.

As part of the fair program, the BMW Group organizes a visit to the Buitenplaats Kasteel Wijlre museum in Limburg, where a collection of works from Joe and Marlies Eyk collection is stored. This collection was included in the latest version of the BMW Art Guide by Independent Collectors – an international guide to 256 private collections of works of contemporary art that are available to the public.

The guidebook lists both large and small works of art – famous and relatively unknown. Succinct portraits of collections with countless colorful illustrations took readers to the most interesting and often unexpected places, many of which are far from the usual routes of travelers and collectors – more than forty countries in all.

270 renowned galleries from all over the world contribute to making TEFAF a display of the most important artistic works on the market. TEFAF demonstrates one of the most important art works on the art market. BMW Group has been a partner of TEFAF since 2001. The company supports many other world art fairs, including Art Basel, Art Basel Miami Beach, Art Basel Hong Kong, Frieze London, Frieze New York, Paris Photo, as well as initiatives such as Gallery Weekend Berlin. Moreover, the German concern continues long-term cooperation with cultural institutions and artists around the world through such projects as BMW Tate Live, Preis der Nationalgalerie and BMW Art Cars.
