Hello, I’m back with another Color Throwdown Challenge! This week our hostess is Amy Rohl and she has picked a classic color combo based on her equally classic inspiration piece.
Since the colors and inspiration piece are calm and simple in design, I went the same way. I’ve been seeing art work around with just one large framed tropical leaf so that was my inspiration. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base and added strips of Calm & Cozy Chevron Paper Pack down each side. Then on another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock I cut Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window Die-namics and stamped the sentiment from Thanks so Very Much with Black Licorice dye ink.
I popped that up on the base with foam mounting tape and added a leaf from Leafy Greenery Die-namics cut from Gumdrop Green card stock. To finish off I added some enamel dots.
