Hello there! It’s time for a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! My girl Jodi is our hostess this week and she has chosen a great color palette for us to play with.



I went CAS with this card in order to really highlight these gorgeous colors. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then on more Sweet Tooth card stock, I stamped Whimsical Woodgrain Background with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder and popped it up on the card base with foam mounting tape. Since I planned small areas of color, I wanted a distinct background but one that would not take away from my focal point.



Then I stamped an image from LJD Geometric Greenery with Black Licorice hybrid ink on Ranger Watercolor Paper and colored them with Peerless Watercolors. I popped them up with foam tape on a bundle of white thread and added the sentiment, stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock cut with Blueprints 22 Die-namics, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and also popped up on foam. I finished off with some matching enamel dots.
