I don't plan out a log cabin quilt block, I cut an assortment of fabrics and just have fun. Just can't over think anything lately !
Machine pieced - finished size of 10"x 10"

Cut 1 Pink – 2 ½” x 2 ½”
Cut 2 Blue – 2 ½” x 1 ½”
Sew to make center
Cut 1 Green – 5 ½” x 1 ½”
Sew to center sides.
Cut 2 Yellow – 2 ½” x 4 ½”
Sew to the top
Cut 2 Gold – 2 ½” x 8 ½”
Sew to the right and left side
Cut 2 Yellow – 8 ½” x 1 ½”
Sew to the top and bottom
Cut 2 Green – 10 ½” x 1 ½”
Sew to the right and left side
